I am most often prompted by an object of interest, previously sofas, stairs, bicycles. The object becomes a catalyst for a project or body of work. I am interested in the relationships that I create with objects/structures and the relationship that I have with the process of creating and maintaining structure(s). I use processes of building, fixing, breaking, collecting, compiling, organising, drawing, photographing, filming, writing, talking, and occasionally painting to reflect on concepts from my life such as lesbian identity, familial connections, and labour.
